Pharmaceutical - Bausch & Lomb

Bausch and Lomb is one of the key industries in Waterford and it has engaged David Flynn Limited on an on-going basis for the last 10 years to carry out the majority of its new construction works as well as alterations and refurbishment to the existing facility.

As well as constructing new clean room facilities and the fit-out of a new laboratory including all associated services DFL previously completed projects for B&L in RP3 and modules 5, 6 & 7.

In 2007 DFL were chosen to construct a new 4 hour fire wall through the centre of the factory which involved a number of specialist sub-contractors and materials so that either side of the new wall was fully protected in the event of a major fire.
