A large volume of our current projects are repeat business for well established clients and design professionals. We have achieved a reputation for close association with our clients and design consultants. Indeed some of our largest undertakings to date have been negotiated with long established clients.
We operate open-book partnering and alliance relationships with design teams as well as offering turn key solutions and fixed price contracts. In a number of cases we have acted as developer and main contractor in which case the client leases the new facility with an option to purchase the development in the future.
Where possible we like to discuss changes to a contract with a design team before they are issued so that everyone is aware of the programming and cost implications before the change is officially sanctioned. This also gives us an opportunity to put forward proposals which may facilitate achieving the client’s requirements using a different form of construction which is either more economical or faster.
Either way we assess the implications of all changes to a project as early as possible and we then report on the cost implications to the client so that an informed decision can be made and this ensures that there are no misunderstandings or disputes later.
Where possible we also like to agree the cost of a variation before work starts on the change so that there are no issues at the Final Account stage.
