Project Progress Update – Autumn Fields Medical Campus, Ballygrennan, Co. Limerick.
David Flynn Ltd are proud to share an exciting progress update on one of our flagship projects currently underway – Limerick’s new state-of-the-art Oncology Cancer Treatment Care Facility at Autumn Fields Medical Campus. This landmark project represents a vital step forward in the delivery of enhanced healthcare infrastructure for the Mid-West region, and we are delighted to be playing our part in bringing this development to life.
Over recent weeks, significant milestones have been achieved on site:
✅ Piling works have now been fully completed, ensuring a robust and stable foundation for the facility.
✅ Installation of precast beams has been successfully carried out, supporting the structural framework of the build.
✅ Precast concrete flooring has been set in place, marking another major phase of progress.
With these elements in place, our focus has now moved to the highly technical and specialised area of the project – the construction of the Concrete Bunker Base & Walls. These reinforced in-situ concrete structures are critical to the functionality and safety of the cancer treatment centre, providing the shielded environment required for advanced oncology care services.
In parallel, preparations are advancing for the installation of the floor screed, which will be completed in the coming weeks. Each stage of the works is being carefully coordinated to maintain the highest levels of quality, safety, and efficiency while ensuring that the project remains firmly on track for delivery.
